Policy Overview

At Colors2Cart.in, we value your satisfaction and strive to ensure a smooth and transparent experience for all our customers. This policy outlines the rules and procedures for order cancellations, product returns, and refunds in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and industry best practices.

Cancellation Policy

2.1 Pre-Dispatch Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled by the User before the order is dispatched from the Hyperlocal Dealer.
  • Cancellation can be initiated via:
    • “My Orders” section on your dashboard
    • Email request to support@colors2cart.in with your Order ID

2.2 Post-Dispatch Cancellations

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been dispatched.
  • If you still wish to cancel after dispatch, the product will be treated as a return, and charges (pickup, restocking, etc.) may apply.

2.3 Merchant-Initiated Cancellations

  • In rare cases (e.g. out-of-stock, dealer unavailability, serviceable area mismatch), Colors2Cart reserves the right to cancel the order. You will be notified via SMS/email and receive a full refund.

Return Policyy

3.1 Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

  • Wrong item delivered
  • Damaged packaging or spillage (reported within 24 hours of delivery)
  • Expired or defective product (must show proof)
  • Mismatch in color code/shade from order (excluding screen-view differences)

Products must:

  • Be returned within 3 days of delivery
  • Be unused, sealed, and in original packaging
  • Include invoice and accessories (if any)

Non-returnable products include:

  • Opened paint buckets
  • Custom-mixed or tinted shades
  • Free promotional items
  • Products without original invoice

3.2 Return Process

  • Initiate return via “My Orders” or email at returns@colors2cart.in
  • Our team will assess eligibility and approve or reject the request within 48 hours
  • Approved returns will be picked up within 3–5 business days
  • Refund or replacement will be processed upon verification at warehouse/dealer location

Refund Policy

4.1 Refund Timelines

  • Prepaid Orders: Refund will be made to the original mode of payment within 7–10 business days
  • COD Orders: Refund will be processed to your bank account or UPI ID after return verification

4.2 Partial Refunds

In cases where only part of an order is returned (e.g., one item from a combo), partial refunds will be issued after verifying condition and approval.

4.3 Refund Deductions

In some cases, Colors2Cart reserves the right to deduct:

  • Return shipping charges
  • Repacking/restocking fees (if applicable)
  • Any discounts or offers availed originally

Color Disclaimer (Visual Variation)

Colors2Cart shall not be held liable for returns requested due to screen-view differences in color appearance. Product colors may vary slightly due to device brightness and calibration. Users are advised to confirm exact shade codes via physical shade cards from a painter or manufacturer before ordering.

Return Rejection & Disputes

Returns may be rejected in the following cases:

  • Item returned is used or tampered with
  • Product not matching with invoice
  • Return window expired
  • Missing packaging or labels

In case of rejection:

  • No refund will be issued
  • User can request the same item to be shipped back (courier charges applicable)

Disputes may be escalated by emailing grievance@colors2cart.in with relevant documents and images. Our Grievance Officer will respond within 15 working days as per our redressal policy.
